Bad Story, Happy Ending is the third full length and first major label studio album by Israel's Useless ID. Originally released in June 2001, it was the band's first album on the Kung Fu label. The album was produced by The Ataris singer / guitarist Kris Roe and was recorded at Orange Whip Studios in Santa Barbara, California with Roe contributing additional guitars and sound effects, and the Ataris cellist Angus Cooke contributing cello.
To celebrate 20 years of Bad Story, Happy Ending SBÄM are giving them a full beauty treatment: Updated artwork, remastered audio (at The Blasting Room) and reissued on vinyl for the very first time!
